Maple Leaf and its fish have grown. Those are some slabs.
i'm kind of get'n use to this semi-retirement. my buddy pat called me sunday night said he was not working monday and tuesday and his wife told him to call me and go fishing. said gas, food and lodging all on him. so of course i accepted. so we went, had a good time and caught lot's of fish, no pattern again, we cleaned 72. only pattern i have figured out this year is there is'nt one but it's been pretty productive so i'm not complaining. gotta love maple leaf!:D no big one's just eater size...
why do today what you can put off til tomorrow, go fishing instead!!!

Has the fishing been good way out there in the mouth of that cove?
Those our some nice Crappie guys, congrats on your catch. thanks for the pics. Where is Maple leaf located. I won't be fishing there but just curios.
WTG, Jeff. Those fish look bigger than "JUST" eatin size. Nice looking fish.
Man, I haven't had a chance to get back out there since you gave me those pointers on the lake. The motor wasn't running well on the ole Rug Rat and when I got a trolling motor running, the pickup broke down
Looks like you guys got into some good ones, can't wait to get back.
Maple Leaf is 3 miles west of the hwy 13 exit on I-70 (Higginsville). Nice facility's there.
