    Default Late Wappapello Report


    Fished Wed the 24th from 6am till 11:30. Weather was clear and HOT !!!!
    Fished the river from Milan to above Perkins Branch. Very few shad schools on the channel yet.Possibly due to the lake being high for so long and was still on a fall ?
    Ended up with 18 keepers(9 1/2 - 11" ) and maybe 50 shorts. Pushin jigs 9 ft deep in 11-13 FOW. Most came on wht/char tubes pumped with nibbles.

    Is Wappapello a better crappie lake than Clearwater lake down there?

    Thanks for the report P. Congrats on a good summer trip.

    It was too hot for me this past weekend. After being out in it all week, I had to recoup a little. These last couple of mornings were nice though, may go over the weekend, early.
