    Default Sac perching round 2

Got an invite from Larry to do a little bite of camping /fishing at lake Crowley. The plan was to meet Larry and company up there. Hout and I left Long Beach at 11am and meet Larry at 5pm.

We normally just sleep in the car for trips like this, but this time we brought a tent.

This is what I woke up to. Beautiful, but from the looks of it I knew it was gonna be hot today.

The breeze came later during the day,and we welcome it with open arms.

Check out the Owens river for a bit.

    Scenery photos of lake Crowley.

Fishing was slow till 4pm. Then we got them to bite.

Our mess from the night before. Good times. Thanks for the invite Larry, I had a great time.
Total number of fishes caught between Hout and I: 20 stockers (trout) and 70 plus sac perch for 1 1/2 day of fishing. The trout were caught at one of the creeks that the DFG recently stocked.
Baited used: Crappie jigs tipped with nibblets and night crawlers fished on 2lb test.
    Location: Lake Crowley,Ca
Thanks for reading and goodluck on your next fishing adventure, Pokerface.

With such beautiful scenery, even a fishless day isn't a wasted day. Lucky he that can see it in person, for even the pictures puts ones mind to daydreaming. Thanks for the post and especially the pictures.
