    Default Crappie Pole Question.

I am in need of a new Crappie pole and need some recommendations. To narrow the recommendations I have some more info.

I typically slip bobber fish over structure.
I want a longer pole, however I find that the guides at the tip of longer poles are not friendly to slip knots. So the pole must have large enough quides for slip knots to pass through without readjusting my depth.

Any recommendations. Oh one last request. Less than $100. :D

I use the Wally Marshal Pro series and the signature series. Have had good service for three years. I recommend the 10 ft. if you can have only one. Under $60.00. There are others.

Hanr3, if you cannot find such a pole as you want, take your favorite and have the eyes changed to larger ones.

These are what you are looking for. I bought 3 of these from Todd Huckabee when Quantum first put these on the market 4 yrs. ago. Built very well. Big eyes. Built like a spinning rod but long for crappie fishing. XPD1002M 10' Medium Dippin Graphite Quantum Rods

You could always check with where I just bought a rod. His work is really good. I don't know what kind of prices he has for what you may pick, but nice looking work he does.

BnM makes several good rods that will do exactly what you are looking for. An ultimate ultra-lite would be a very good choice for you.

An upgrade from that, would be a BnM Sam's Super Sensitive. Available in 71/2', 9', 10', 11', and 12'

    Good Luck!

I have a BnM Ultralite 11footer. No problem with a slip bobber.

Try the Sam's Super Sensitive! Great rod for the money. Can't beat BnM's customer service either.
