I have always had good luck with Lowrance/Eagle. Had several units. I bought a Bottomline 320 almost a year ago and put it on the bow (trolling motor). Never liked the unit. Worked okay, but prefer Low/Eagle much better. The 320 pixels just doesn't look as smooth and detailed as the comparable other units.

The bottomline is in the garage, been replaced with an Eagle.

    Might just be me.

What part of Ky are you from? I live a little bit south of the midway point between Monkey's Eyebrow and Possum Trot, Ky.

I wouldn't put to much stock in this, because it is the only Bottomline
I ever saw in person, but a fellow I used to bass fish with had one, and
after sending it back the umpteenth time to be fixed, he finally got so
mad he stomped/kicked it off the deck - said last time they saw it, it
    was floating down the waterway...

    Arca,

Be sure to take a look at the Eagles. Same product as Lowrance with a few less bells and whistles for about a hundred bucks difference resectively.
