my "go to" jig is a 1/32 oz with a red head and white body. A blue body is hot around here this year also.
I usually fish with my dad 95% of the time. He has 1000 assorted colored jigs that he use to fish with. I believe its unnecessary b/c I catch majority of my fish on black/chat or Orange/White/Chaut tube jigs.
I want to start a thread on what color jig & jig head size would take on a fishing trip if you had to choose only 3 different color tube jigs?

I don't use to many tubes but these are my best color producers in 2" curl tail grubs. Lemon Meringue, Tennessee Shad, Silver-N-Black with 1/16th. oz. head.
Black /Chartreuse, Red/Chartreuse, Green/Chartreuse, Pink/Blue/Chartreuse, and my favorite winter color around here... Green head/White chenille body/Red marabou with gold and silver krystal flash.. We call it "The Christmas Jig".
Orange/chartreuse,white chartreuse, black chartreuse. I rarely use tubes or grubs.Catching fish on something I make myself is a blast but if someone is smokin them on a color that I don't have tied then I'll beg, borrow or steal if I have to,to get that magic color.
