Did you pour those yourself? If so, where do you get the tin?
These things are giant and the pics don't do the tin any justice. This stuff has some BLING BLING to it...VERY SHINY

Sac
It's sure isn't like pouring lead LOL

do like the shine where did you get them
I made them guys. The tin I bought from rotometals on the internet ($9.99 a pound). I got about 200+ jigs from 3 pounds of Tin. The hooks are matzuo sickle red chrome in a 2/0 in the big one and a 1/0 on the smaller one. I also made some with tin in the 1/8 size and 1/16. I'm sticking wth lead on the 1/32 and 1/16 though. I also made all the same big sizes in lead. I plan on running both of them and if the fish like the tin more than lead I will go with tin. If they don't care I will stick with lead. I am only using the sickles in the big sizes and the 1/8 size gets a 1/0 also in bronze #570, the 1/16 get #2 570 and the 1/32 gets #4 570

Sac... if you are just trying to keep the "just poured" shiney look of the lead you can just coat it with clear fingernail polish to keep it from oxidizing and turning dull grey. Might be cheaper than buying tin ? Speaking from my own trial and errors.

thanks for the advice but I want the volume of lead with the weight of tin but I might use your tip with the lead...Anyway here's a couple with skirts on them. I would be SLAB-ergasted if they don't catch fish!!!

Any body see any advantage with tin over lead other than the shine? Anyway to make these in gold? Local guy I know uses tin because his glue does not harm the finish like paint
Here's a mix of metals I'm gonna make some golden colored one's out of. The problem is the golden color doesn't run all thru the metal totally. If shine is an advantage over lead wouldn't that be a MAJOR advantage? Also, the fall rate is different for lighter metals vs. lead.

Looks like some fun material!!! I'm stuck moving so my pouring has been drastically STOPPED Once it's over I'll get started again, I'm gonna try and get all my pouring done before winter this year.
