    Default Hot Truman Fishing


    We went to Bucksaw Friday & went out with Richard Bowling We started the day above U Highway & 2nd dip Mr JJ had a 11 inch Crappie & then 2 more to follow:D Then Mrs JJ & Richard got into the game & Mr JJ stood in the back of the boat & watched the two of them catch every crappie on the trees we fished

    Minnows 8-11 ft deep in 12-14 fow was the best...any where around a point. It got real windy but in didnt bother Richard. He kept the boat in postion all the time. Finally later in the day Mr JJ got to catch some more keepers JJ took care of dinkville We wound up with 40 nice keepers mostly over 10 inch

    On Sat the JJ's went to Osage Bluff & stayed on one flat most of the day finishing the day with a limit :D:D Tryed jigs but no luck - Minnows was the bait of choice. Most caught in 15-18 fow 12-15 deep. I cant remember the last time we caught so many black crappie. Some nice & some dinks but lots of blacks caught today. Water temp 82 & very clear.

    Brad I will trade it out with you. I'll take you on Truman & you can mark anything you want. Then we hit Pomme In my boat & I will mark every thing we catch fish off of or any brush pile you show me. I'll show you my best stuff & you do the same:D

    and a lot of them, sounds like a good day until u got on the road home....... water sounds good down in that area........

    Good job JJ's, must have missed you today. We put in a Berry Bend but the water was pretty muddy so we moved down by Indian Island and fished most of the day. Caught several fish, no real size and a jig tipped with minnow seemed to be the trick for us as well. Looked like several boats around KK.
