Fish the points and with a boober. Two feet depth for the bait and in3fl + for the depth. Find where there is a drop off and allow the wind to drift you bait from the flats to the deep water. Straight across from the ramp are points with hard clay bottoms. The big one are looking up for dinner. The small ones fine theirs on the bottom. They don't want to be siloetted up in the water column, they become dinner. Hardley ever caught a small catfish woth a bobber.

Good fishing and congrats on teaching your boy.
