    Default Fire on LOZ

Anybody at Lake of the Ozarks see the fire today? Nasty looking fire for a condo complex that I would think would have sprinklers?

That's around the 35mm of the main channel not too far from the Hurricane Deck Bridge. I just spoke to someone I know that was there this morning. Lightning struck the building. Apparently firetrucks and fire boats had a few problems getting there.

That was definitely a wicked lightning storm that came through last night. It wasn't too bad in the city damage wise, but my folks down in Harrisonville said it broke some tree's and did some damage. Also Drexel got hammered by what they thought was a tornado or just some very strong straight line winds.

    Just that time of year!

From what I read in on kansascity.com there were no occupants at the time of the fire.
