    Default Spider Rigging Double Seats

Had some time to kill today, and since I’m so crafty with PVC decided to start on my double front seat for spider rigging. I plan on putting a piece of treated 3/4 plywood on top and mounting two low profile seats. The center support will have a bolt that secures the unit to the deck using my pedestal mount. Still have access to all front deck compartments and can move to the back deck if need be. Now just waiting on my rod holders and then I'm Set.

Looks like it will work. Still trying to decide waht to do with mine for seating. I am better with steel than with the PVC. So I may have to weld something up out of aluminum.

That looks great. I did the same thing for an umbrella stand for my front casting seat.

Might be kinda tough getting up on the bow to fish, but other than that they look strong enough to be good and sturdy. "I likes it!":D Post a picture when finished....I'm interested. Also, PM me so I can find the post.

Looks good - but watch where you store your completed project... I've made some stuff using PVC, and even the mild steady heat in my garage during the summer made the PVC warp over time (and it was the thick-walled variety).

PVC-engineering is fun - and I usually get to end up with a purple thumb, looking like an Iraqi voter!
