O.K.,just got home last night from a 1500 mile driveleft Atlanta about 2:30 a.m. on sat...starting about 5:00 a.m. what did I start seeing???
I lost count by 7 a.m. of the vehicles on the side of the road with a disabled trailer....some were left on the side unhooked...others waiting for help...boats..pwc's....utility trailers...4 wheelers....even had the back half of a p/u trailer blow a tire 200 yards in front of me in a construction zone.
Can't stress the importance of being prepared...spare tire-hub-bearing-jack-tools....you know the routine.
Had my timing belt break somewhere in BFE Fl...thats a helpless feeling...and $$$$$$$$$$$$$
Your right - it's happened to me before! Once your stranded you learn real quick to become prepared.
