Fishin Report Ky. Lake....What fish????

I put a full day in Saturday. I covered water from Mansard Island to Country Junction, to West Sandy Dyke. I caught a lot of fish, but only seven keepers. The few I caught were fat rascals (not long, about 11 to 12 in).


Sunday morning, Honey and I fished for a few hours after we deposited the "habitat". We picked up 4 more keepers, but we caught a lot of fish (8 to 9 inches) that were fat as h*ll. The looked like giant bluegill. I weighed one of the 9 1/2 inchers, and it weighed just under a half pound. These fishes are feeding on something. I just can't figure what the "something" might be.

Water temp still in the low to mid 80's. Weather ever cools down, we are in for a real treat here. I was really nailing them with a white and chartruce jig.

By the way, thanks Richard for the TZur "bullets". I am out of ammo. Hint....
