Good reading Creekslick. I was almost nervous about getting a Yamaha
four-stroke when I got mine because I'd heard so much about this over
on some other forums. For some reason, it seems like the 115 was a
overwhelming majority of the cases, but I know it's not much different from
my 90. That may explain why I'm not having the trouble - mine is propped
to buzz right to the rev limiter, and I have to work the snot out of it just
to plane that pig of mine. Anything below 4500 rpms and I start falling
off plane The T8 I troll with, haven't noticed anything with it,
except it "drools" real bad down the back - a oily stripe coming out of
the top exhaust port. I was told that is common on four-stroke kickers.
