Got some and won't use anything else. Easy to adjust. The rods are very secure at any angle, but when you get a bite and need to get the rod out there are no obstructions. The quality of the construction of these rod holders is well done. I don't think you will be disappointed buying these. Before I bought mine I communicated with Scott Echols with some questions. I received a quick response and all my questions were answered satisfactorily.

I've tried several kinds, and I like these the best. I really like the mounting plates---when you take them off the boat, you don't have anything in the way.

I agree with all above. I have 4 sets on my boat. I troll, spyder rig and pull cranks. I have had rods that hung on the bottom and the holder spin around with the rod pointing back toward the motor and never come out of the holder. Good stuff

Default I like them and I am hard to please.

Not the best pic, but all I have of the holders at present.

I agree with everyone above. They are by far the best I have ever owned.
