    Beautiful rod, love the vintage look. I've wanted either a 4-5 piece or telescopic UL rod for a pretty long time and have recently gotten interested in getting into hiking as well. The thought of going out for a day with a bottle of water, a small pack with some UL essentials and a little home made PVC rod tube is really appealing. Get some exercise and find some fish that have never seen a lure before.

    Wish I had the legs to do that still. The idea still appeals to me though.
