Received my Revo Beast today .
After checking it out , I realized it wasn’t for me and packed it back up and shipped it back .
First , it is a cool looking reel , looks very well made . Didn’t feel heavy to me at all .
Actually looked smaller in my hand than I expected .
Now , the reason I returned it .
When I loosened the drag knob to where I would need to , to protect 2# line , the spool had too much wobble for a reel that cost what it does .
Surprised me , because it has a bearing under the spool that should keep it from wobbling without any pressure applied.
Also if I were to cast with the spool all the way forward (up) , it would feel awkward trying to reach the line with my index finger .
I had wondered if that would be an issue looking at it in pictures .

Sorry to hear you didn’t like it. That wobble is from the new design on the floating shaft. It was first used in the Zenon…..and yes the wobble is same in both reels. When I first got the Zenon I thought it might be an issue but that has not proven to be the case. My only draw back was the weight…but as you say it really is not that heavy. But I’ve gotten used to these 140 gram reels and after using them it is hard to go back to heavier reels. I was just out in the shop and am boxing up a Twin Power…Certate….2015 Luvias….to send to my sons. Keeping my Ballistic FW’s….all the Abu Garcia….a 20 Luvias, and of course my Presso and Presso Limited. I’ve got too many to fit in my reel case and need to make some room. Oh..by the way…I found some spoons you might like to try with the Iprimi. PM me your address and I will send them to you. Now they have barbless hooks and I would change them for you but I’d wind up with one or more in my fingers…LOL.

I felt like I wasn’t going to like the reel , even before it arrived.
It’s just too different for me .
Thanks for the spoons, I’ll put them to use once I change out the hooks .
