Default Big day yesterday on the shellcracker

I've got family down from Indiana and I'm playing fishing guide. We ended up with 33 or so shellcracker, many weighed over 1.5lbs to 1.75lbs. It was an epic day of fishing that won't be forgotten!!

We were in mustard grass and lilly pads most of the day. I wondered how the 2lb line would hold up in this situation as I worried it probably wouldn't. To my delight, it held up reasonably well. We certainly lost a few big fish but ended up with our share. Most of these were caught on the Major Craft Finetail rods and my Triple Cross rod with SOS 2lb line. We are going back today.
