I ordered another Daiwa Revros LT 1000s today .
Justification, I like the reel for what it cost . I like the colors .
It’s a nice smooth reel with an awesome drag and has the shallow spool that I like .
No need to put 200+ yards of backing on it.
It’s not as light as the more expensive Daiwa LT reels , but at seven ounces (200g) it’s plenty lightweight for me . With a two or even a three ounce rod , you’re looking at an outfit that weighs just barely over half a pound .
For $21 more I could have gone with the Legalis LT 1000s and dropped a half ounce .
For less than $70 shipped , it’s a bargain IMO.
And I added a few packs of Daiwa jigheads to try out .
I was just going to order the jigheads but the shipping was as much as the heads .
By ordering a reel , the jigheads ship free with the reel .
A win win IMO .

Good deal having them cover the shipping, enjoy the reel. I’ve got a local guy working on getting one for me, waiting to see.
Creativity is just intelligence fooling around
Sounds like a great deal. Where did you order from?

Saw the Daiwa at Academy yesterday. $129. I’ve always preferred Shimano reels. How does the Daiwa compare to a comparable Shimano reel? I ordered a new St Croix Avid Panfish UL rod. 6’9” model. Need a reel for it.
