Default Diawa Pressso - Spinning Rod - Where to Purchase ?

I am looking for a Daiwa Presso spinning rod and cannot locate any USA retailers who have stock.
Having read many positive reports on the rod and would like to try something in the 5'-5'6" range and one in the longer lengths 7ft to 8ft.

    Regards,
    FK

Exactly how hard did you look? While they don't have every model in stock, both these websites have at least some in stock and came up within the first five results on Google.

    ArthurLK11,

Thanks for reply,,,,,, I ordered a rod from the first URL link,,, they replied with 8-12 weeks delivery,,,,, refunded my purchase amount.

Several other sites have Diawa Presso rods listed,,,, but not in stock,,, they will order from Diawa who apparently have nothing in stock.

I did find a store in MI with some stock,,,, 8ft is inbound and 5ft ordered today.

    Regards,
    FK

I sent a PM because I knew they would fly but Amazon had the 6' available yesterday for a short while. No longer available.

The Diawa Presso 8ft 2pc arrived today,,,,,, amazed at quality for the price. Excellent rod with shrink wrap tape pattern on the blank,,,, they did not centerless grind the blank smooth and apply polyurethane coating,,, this saves weight. The very early Orvis and Scott fly rod blanks had the same design.

Fast action with initial bend in the upper 1/3 but not as extreme like the JDM UL rods,,, more like a USA fast action fly rod bending profile.

    Ordered 2 additional Presso UL rods,,,,, 6ft 2pc and 5ft 1 pc.

    Regards,
    FK
