Thread: For those thinking about a Zenon spinning reel

Have a channel subscriber who has the JDM version. Says it’s ok…needs to use it more to really rate it. The 1000 S version of this reel from Japan can be had for about 275 bucks….and the bigger versions also can be had at that price. Considerably less than models sold in the US.

Thank you for the tip on the Japan price. I used this information from a previous post of yours and bought my Stradic 2500"s there and saved some money.

These guys go over a product with a fine toothed comb and show details that are you normally wouldn't see.

Actually the Zenon may wind up being the bargain of a lifetime. The specs on the reel are better than reels costing much more. Time will tell.

I like my Daiwa’s a whole lot but the specs on the Zenon give you a whole lot of reel for the money.

Where can I purchase it for $275? I saw it listed for $370 but not $275. I may buy one for $275.
