Beautiful fish! Looks like a lot of fun and a good looking rod as well!
Over the past 3 days I have netted over 250 trout below Normandy Dam. The vast majority of the fish have been small. But using UL gear makes for a ton of fun. The past 2 days the flow has been low…when it is like that is darn near a trout every cast. Used the Major Craft Fine Tail Stream Stage 4’ 6” UL rod…Daiwa Ballistic FW 1000 S reel spooled up with Varivas Infinity PE X8 0.2 line with a section of 2# test FC leader. The lure was a 1.2 gram Daiwa Presso Eve spoon in Yellow Dagger color. They were crushing it. I knew sooner or later I would get a good one….and I did…a beautiful 17 inch rainbow. Nothing like the jolt you get when a trout hits on this setup. Life is good…and getting better!

I would call those 3 great days
Thanks for the comments. Got into about seventy-five, 10-11 inch fish today, before wind drove me off. I love the fact it is only a 40 minute drive with great action. Got 3 more months of this then they’ll be gone until November. Gonna wear it out while I can.
