Default Battle on TenRyu Rayz Spectra.

Been on a mini vacation over at the Biltmore and decided I needed to go and try to catch something. Got up this morning and headed to Normandy. Caught two like this one but the video of the second catch was corrupted...but the two fish were identical in size. Both fish 17 inches. Used the Varivas Infinity 5.6# test PE line...an Forest MIU Abalone colored spoon with single hook. This rod is perfect for this type of fishing...as it should be, as that is what it is designed for. If you look close you may be able to see a fly in the trouts mouth along with my spoon. Some fly guy was not so lucky...LOL. I removed the fly and away it swam. Two fish made my day.

    Regards

Good fish, that braid will tame them nicely!

I’m sure the trout wasn’t real happy but felt a lot better without the fly!

Very nice fish. I miss that area this time of year. So much fun close to home when I lived there.
