    Default ABU Garcia Zenon

A newer addition to their line up. The 2000 size weighs just 4.9 oz.

The 2000s, and 2000sh models sold in japan weigh 145 grams according to their website. I wonder what's different about the 2000 size USDM version to make it 138.9 grams or 4.9 ounces.

The 1000 series in that reel comes in at 142g for the Japan version. Maybe the US version has a deeper spool? I know Randy has been looking at this reel.

The shallow spool JDM version is about 175 bucks cheaper.

Those reels can be bought for approximately around 320$.....if you can find one. There are no 1000 series to be had. That is the USA version that is for 517 bucks...which I do not want due to the deep spool. Why pay 500 when you can get it for 320 bucks. For those that think the price is high don't ever look at a Stella or Exist.......both at or around 600 bucks. I still may get a Zenon but I have a 2021 Presso 1000 on pre order..so we will see.
