Default Only one...but the right "One"

Only one fish today..but the right “One”. Caught on a Forest 2.8 gram MIU Abalone spoon using a Tenryu Rayz Spectra Lite Lite 6’ 1” stream trout rod. Reel was a Daiwa Ballistic 1000 FW 1000S-P spooled up with Varivas Area Super Trout Infinity PE X8 5.6# test line with a section of Leland’s Lures Phantom FC Leader 2# test. Only one fish……but made my day for sure. Life is good!

Sure is a pretty fish. Have never caught one, never fished waters that had them.

Thanks for the comments. Up about 500 yards from there is a catch pool…it holds big black nose crappie and big walleye. But there is very little space to fish it and if you’re not the first there then it’s tough luck. Every once and a while I may get lucky to get that spot but not often.

    Regards

Gorgeous fish. Rainbows and cutthroats are in a class all by themselves.
