One of the most serious requirement's of any fishing is that you have more equipment that you'll ever need! :-)

I carry 10-15 on the boat at all times.
16 foot down to 5 ft 6 inches.
Fish alone almost all the time.
I quit counting a long time ago at 75 but that includes all the bass rigs from years past.
My wife will have a heck of a yard sale when I’m gone!!!! Lol Why do you have multiple rods n reels?

Ya know a really funny thing about this is that so many guys justify getting an expensive reel and rod because it will last so long! I on the other hand got my ABU's because they look nice!:-)

I have several rods and reels that are more expensive. But I keep my cheap rods and reels in good shape, and the kids and cousins fish with those. Why do you have multiple rods n reels? But I have a hard time juggling multiple rods. Most of my tackle stays home, and I usually just take one or two
    rods/reels when I’m fishing.

Thinking about this some more. I have I think five rod transport holder's I put on my boat. Have only used the boat for crappie so far but the res I fish in also has bull heads, trout and bass in it. I carry a casting rod just in case I want to switch off to bull heads or bass, then an UL spinning set up to send Power Bait to trout should the desire hit me. Another UL with just a 1/8th oz jig to cast to crappie, another UL with a slip bobber and a jig to try for crappie in the grass and one more UL with a slip bobber set up and a different color jig! Well that should justify getting all those rods. fortunately there's no wife at home to sell my casting rods at a yard sale while I'm not looking! A wife would probably also be low life enough to sell my depth finder reels. have a girl friend I had to get a rod for to take her fishing, girl should have her own rod! asked her this spring if she'll like another rod. she's says, "what for? I got one"! This girl friend may not last!

I have multiple rods and reels because I can and I like options when on the lake. I usually set each one up differently. This way I can just grab the rod and go.
