Default Iprimi XXUL worth the money!

The flow decreased at Normandy to 240 CFS so I grabbed the Daiwa Iprimi 5' 6" XXUL and headed that way. Had the rod rigged with the new Varivas Lemoni Polyester Line. This line test out at 1.8 pounds...not a lot of room for error using this stuff. Caught around 30 small trout...but using this rod made them seem like they are big trout...LOL. The highlight of the day was a Spotted bass at the 14 inch mark so fat it was about to pop. While that is a nice size for a Spot, on this rod it is a true trophy. All fish caught on Daiwa Presso Eve Yellow Dagger Trout Spoon. The Iprimi is just a game changer when you are on smaller fish.....they really are a lot of fun on this rod. Been doing a lot of trout fishing as my other waters are just not quite ready to bust out yet. Life is good!

Wow! That bass is incredibly chunky. Ready to explode is right! Nice day - thanks for taking us along.

Nice ! You got me wanting to run up and chase those trout ! Just had hip replaced so I may give it a try in a week or two! Or may wait till later towards June because those gills are getting fired up around here !

The Iprimi 5' 6"xxul and the 6'xul are a ton of fun to fish. I caught a nice LMB on the 6' xul today, it was a good fight! Will post pictures later.

Nice catches and pictures. If Chris still had them in stock I would have to buy another one...

If Daiwa still had them in stock I would have bought a lot more of them.
Not in Daiwa's production plan for the next 3 months. No way to know their plans beyond 3 months.
