My last purchase was Majorcraft Crostage T-732L mebaru rod. I like it a lot super light and can cast 1/32oz head plus baby shad further than all my other rods. The sensitivity is also acceptable and the bend on the tip, just perfect for crappie, no more big hole in crappie mouth. The only problem for me is with that super soft lure rate 0.5-5grams, I’m struggling with 1.5 grams head when jigging along bottom (the casting is perfect).
I normally use 1.2-1.5grams head for crappie, would Crostage Ajing rod 0.6-7 grams fit me better in my case. I use this long rod for also weighted bobbers rig. How stiff is Ajing compare to Mebaru?

A mebaru rod probably makes a pretty floppy float rod... I used a 6’8” MC Triple Cross Tubular Tip for float fishing and my dad uses a 7’3” MC Triple Cross Solid Tip... both are ajing rods and they make great float rods in the event that you are throwing a decent size float like you are in the pic...

Thank you, I really appreciate your input. I should have get the Ajing rod, but on the other hand this rod is perfect for crappie. I don’t lost a lot of fish with this rod compare to my others rod that stiffer and faster tip. That the lightest and smallest lighted fixed float, I could find. It doesn’t even support 1.5 gram head correctly, I have to add a little bit more weight to get it stand up.
Anyway last night I used this setup, rod and float and caught about 50 or more crappie with only a few lost, pretty happy with it. I just take it easy on the cast but still get a pretty good distance and accuracy. I think this rod is a keeper for sure. I might just get 7’6 ESP rod for float instead.
I have 2 esp power lite rods I used to cast to crappie with... they have take a back seat but they are great rods... I love a good TN handle
