Who has this rod that can give me some feedback. I already have the 6'7" slow taper special. Scott
John, if you do a search there are several nice feedback replies from members. All of the reviews have been very positive on the Abu RF RODS.

Stan and I met up to fish for a few hours today and I got to hold the 6.10 Abu and shake it. It felt good enough for me to hit the purchase button. I have the 6.7 Abu and the Tict Rockin’ Finesse and it is for sure stiffer than both of them but not as stiff as the Tict Rockin’ Power. Don’t know if this helps or not. I will say that a while back I contacted Otto’s World about them getting the 6.10 Abu back in stock and this was the reply I got “Sorry what we have is all we will get as they have been discontinued..”

The 6.10L action ABU Realfinesse Eradicator is a super light and sensitive rod. Caught it on sale last Spring and it has become the number one rod in the cast and retrieve arsenal. It is a little more rigid in the tip and blank than the 6.7 Slow Taper. It is much softer than the 6.10 Corto a little further down the blank, thus making it an excellent choice for the soft lipped 8-12in Crappie that I pursue. Cast and retrieve, the 1-1.5g jig with plastic seems to be the sweet spot for this rod. As for line purposes...the 4 different size micro guides basically demand the ultra fine PE (braids). I fished the Unitaka yellow braid on this rod first trip out, it sang like a mockingbird. Nope, not going listen to that, reminiscent of the old bass fishing heavy gear days in which I thought I needed a broomstick to catch a 2lb Bass. Unitaka is not a premium braided line, but a good utility (float and vertical jig) line. The Sunline Small Game PE and the Diawa Gekajibin PE are the two lines that seem to work well with this rod. No guide singing and superb casting distance. Hook up ratio with these no stretch lines on this rod is high, almost automatic as Randy says. The soft blank, braided line, and a super sharp jig hook, the fish really are the ones getting bit. I will be putting up a line review of another PE I used on this rod this week.

Did anyone try to visit north-one tackles online store recently? I can't seem to be able to access the website, worry that reputable sources of JDM rods are dwindling...

A little bird told me another CDC member I know ponied up for an Evergreen Superior Limber Tip... I know he is like a kid waiting for Christmas.. fishing with a nice rod while he waits! He got to try mine out last week while I tried his...

... Abu G Eradicator Slow Taper Special rod - with a new Exist mounted to it! WOW! The word that best describes the reel, that I can think of right now, is SILKY. On the third cast, a big slab thumped the 1 g jig and introduced me to how it feels with a fish on. I can only describe the combination as silky and sensitive, and the fish came in like on a tractor beam without the feeling of being noodle whipped. SMOOOOOOOTH. Dang. I am kindly ruined a little. A fabulous rig. Fabulous.

These rods are gone, and I am amazed he found one, albeit at a stiffer price than I paid.

Yes, he is excitied and as I fall further and further down the rabbit hole Randy warned me about had to punch the button on a Stella 1000 to pair it with. Now I can compare the 2 flagships for myself. Scott
