My main focus was to learn the unit but also to focus on structure that could only been seen using electronics in deeper water. While skinny water fishing is what I enjoy the most my plan is to use this to target structure in deeper water to add to my skillset. It was a great day on the water. Ended up catching about 30 shorts and a half limit of keepers all released for another day. Water temperature was 48 degrees and clear. I was vertical jigging a 1/16 oz Headwater Outdoors jig in various colors in 12-20ft of water. Overall accomplished what I set out to do and will look to continue to improve this deeper water approach.
Does your wife know you threw those keepers back...?
