If you want to know what they are doing and why they are doing it here's a link for contact numbers to every biologist in the state with district maps. I have spoke with my area biologist many times over the years. They want to hear what you have to say. Most of the info they make rules and laws over comes from us. I'm guessing with the replys to this area loosing fish numbers they have heard about it and doing thier job to investigate
thanks i will call monday and post what i find out
I was thinking they were looking for bighead or silver carp?
They were looking for carp and there have been very few silver carp found on wheeler, pickwick has quite a few.
The state is checking fish again this morning, they were on the east bank just a little south of the 72 bridge could see them when i crossed. May be something will come of this.
