Very nice, and nice memories as well.
I have a 1968 Grumman 12’ that looks very much like that one.
It was originally bought new by a relative who took it on a trip to Alaska.
About 5 years later i bought it from him and used it many times in Canada and small lakes in Pa.
I kept it stored at our Pa. camp along with my 15’ Grumman canoe.
A few years ago i brought it here to Florida, but its a bit too tipsy for me here what with all the Gators.
I have a 1973 6 hp Evinrude motor for it that i bought new.

Nice lil rig. Memories are the best and I’m sure if your rig could talk we would hear some wonderful stories. Thanks for sharing

I miss the little Crosby Sled that I rebuilt. Little 14' tri-hull with a 25 Yamaha. Bare bones and plain. It was like the first boat I ever got to fish from

Great story and looks like you had a great day, and that boat brings back memories as a kid my dad bought our first boat, and it was just about identical to yours except it was a side console and had a 35 or 40 hp Mercury.

Let them laugh. A lot of those older small boats have put more fish in them in one season than those that laugh have caught in their entire lifetimes. Great job getting after it and showing them how its done!

Sounds like a great quality trip and some fish decided to play as well. Memories from a family heirloom are priceless!!!

It definitely feels good. Although it kinda makes you appreciate the electronics more because it’s pure luck when you don’t have any idea if fish are there or not. You gotta rely on the jig to tell you if fish are there.
