    Default Wheeler Lake 3/11/23

Fished Wheeler for the first time in a long time Saturday. Had a pretty good day with several big fish. This one was just shy of 3# according to my scales that read 2.9#. Ended up with 25. All caught in 3-5' of water.

Great catch. With the grass coming back I hope it will improve the crappie fishing around the Decatur flats. I think it has already improved the bass fishing with several 20 plus bags and some 25 plus bags weighed in at recent tournaments. It is a pain to fish but helps the fish out.

I'd going to send you a PM, I think I know where you were fishing, but your box is full.
