    I know this is off topic a bit since I don't have active sonar and fish from a kayak but I'm using a Garmin Echomap UHD 73sv. It's clear enough in down view to see the individual tree branches, are they 2 inches or 4 and you can count the individual fish around the brush if they have any kind of size.

    I would take a look at Lowrance first. With that being said I am looking at buying a LS system. But that's because im already invested in Garmin screens

    The livescope is an awesome tool used correctly. Can target schools or target individual big fish. Fun way of fishing.
