    Default Pink and Chartreuse

As some may remember I picked up a package of Pink and Chartreuse Tube Jigs at Bass Pro Shop a couple months ago because they looked "Fishy". I tried them on the next outing and did well and have used them on a couple more trips with great success. None of the local shops in Huntsville had them so I finally put in an order.

I picked up some of the Strike King, crappie thunder at Cabela's but they fall too slow on a 1/32oz jig head. When I increased the jig head weight to 1/16oz the fish didn't seem to hit as well. Who knows how much is the Crappie being weird and how much is just in my head.

All I know is I have a lot of confidence in this tube color combination on a 1/32oz jig head. I was wearing out the fish at Cotaco when others weren't catching fish.

Sometimes the confidence to keep fishing and working a bait makes all the difference, LOL!

You made that post about the pink and chartreuse tube jigs and I just happened to be at Academy where they had some on the clearance rack. I bought them and it worked for sure! It’s not just in your head, you are definitely on to something!

I am a firm believer in anything that has a chartreuse tail out there. I take some of my usual colors and hit the tip with some spike it and it changes things.
