Default Indian Creek Kayak Report - 12.3.22

I dodged the rain and fished Indian creek this morning from about 6:30-9:30. I used a small spinner, BG jigs and 1”sliders and caught probably 15-20 white bass and 2-3 nice bluegill. Quite a bit of activity so it was fun for sure but I couldn’t manage any crappie this time.

Unfortunately I do not have my fish finder rigged yet, so that made things a bit more difficult as well. Water was muddy / stained with the rain, and I fished more toward the main river today, didn’t actually go back toward the barrels. I seem to keep dodging the crappie in significant numbers but maybe they will move further back in the creeks when it gets a bit colder. Still have a ton to learn, but wanted to share a report!

Thanks for the report. I had every intention of going today but was just lazy. Lol. Got up around 7 and it was raining so I went back to bed. Still sounds like a fun trip.
