    Default Indian/Cotaco report

Fished Indian and cotaco from 1-4 today and no luck in Indian but found a dozen or so keepers and about as many dinks single poling 2 tree tops in cotaco. Fish were 7-10 ft deep and hugging the structure hard. All fish released. Bobby garland opening night on black 1/32 heads got the bite

I fished Cotaco Sunday and only managed 6 good ones in the 10"range but had a hard time keeping the bass off my hook all my fish come off a 1/16 ounce head with Bobby Garland blue ice or minnows but the bas were eating like there was no tomorrow.I am planning on going back Wensday to try my luck again

I'm on leave this week, made a short trip mid-day to Indian Creek. Not much to report, only caught a couple short Crappie. First time I can remember, paddled from boat ramp to barrels that mark entry onto Redstone Arsenal and very, very few fish on my graph. No baitfish schools observed at all. Not sure what's going on, but strange year for fishing.

Glad I saw this. I was planning on fishing there Friday.

They could have been laying on the bottom today and be on fire hitting everything Friday. It's always hard to tell what Crappie are going to do from one day to the next, LOL!
Thanks Damion Kidd thanked you for this post
