    Default Forrest Ingram

Had some things to do yesterday so got a late start. Been wanting to try Ingram so gave it a try. Deeper than I’m used to,but finally found a few in shallow water on the far side of the lake. Caught 3 good ones and several shorts. Messed around and got caught by dark. But gonna try and go back when I’ve got more time. Fished there once back in the winter and caught a few. So think it may be worth trying to figure out since it’s close to home.

Glad to hear you caught a few. I have been wanting to try Ingrams, but was wondering how low the water was at the put in and was it a lot of dragging?

Good bit of dragging. More than I was expecting.

And it’s really hard dragging after dark. Lol. Holler at me sometime and we will go. I still haven’t got my fish finder hooked up so I was fishing in the dark. Also caught a few bass. Biggest one about 2 lbs.

You should go try it with me and flintcreek sometime. Would love to see how you go about finding fish on a lake like that. First time I went I looked down and was sitting in 50 ft of water. Just not used to that.

I might give it a try tomorrow.

Best to always start by looking for the bait fish, Crappie won't be far away!

I’m waiting on a power chord to get here for my fish finder. I was fishing blind yesterday.
