Default Kayak report for Limestone creek (Gator seen)

I fished Limestone again Tuesday morning. Still no crappie but did catch several stripe and bluegill. The shad schools are thick everywhere up to and inside the first pit. Tried to get a picture of them. Went up in the creek at the bend and the Lilly pads are thick in there. as i came out our old buddy was coming off the bank and went out and watched me for a while with just his eyes and snout above water . After 15 minutes or so he swam over under the big tree and then went upstream. I went up to the first pit and he was just off the grass where Damion saw him in the center pit. Hope the falling water and cooler temps moves the crappie in shortly.

Very pretty pictures. Just make sure you don’t put keepers on a stringer in the water

Great pictures and report. You didn't happen to see Damions underwear floating around the pits. Got a feeling he had to get shed of them....lol...

May find them on the bank. I didn’t take time to shed them there. Lol

If temps will cooperate crappie will be there soon. Gators back there are pretty common been that way for years.

Looks like your water sharing buddy kept you on high alert! Good to see all those shad.
