Default Mouth of Flint creek tomorrow. Ideas?

I'm thinking about trying the area near the mouth of Flint creek tomorrow. Someone here suggested it. Any ideas or advice on how to maybe catch a few crappie tomorrow? Only concern is that being a Sunday there will be lots of boats zipping around the river. I usually put in at deer leg beach across from point mallard.

Well I went to Wilson instead but I'm still thinking of trying the area around the most of flint creek as someone here suggested a few days ago. There was a mention of "flats" can someone help me out with locating the "flats" areas. Everyone uses some of these terms differentlyName: Screenshot_20220815-124617_Boating.jpg

Slabby that suggested the area doesn’t get on here a lot anymore. Let me see if I can contact him and get him to give some info.

On your picture where the green looks like a anchor that is probably Point mallard water park and the orange lines with what looks like buoys is the main channel going out to the river-the flats that I know of is almost directly across from Point Mallard and run from upstream of Point mallard to the mouth of Flint and has some stumps in it--thus time of year they will run from 3 foot to about 6 foot deep and when the water drops you can see the stumps real good I will start upstream from Point mallard and spider rig under the power lines till I get to the mouth and turn around and do it again

Also the boat launch on the map is probably Hickory Hills boat launch which you can get to by turning off Al. Hwy 67 right before you get to the bridges in the beginning of the backwaters and there is also another flat upstream Hickory Hills that will hold fish but be careful up there as the main channel is crooked as a snake and you could ground out if your not careful
