The Pads should be good for Bass, Crappie and Gills, but I've only caught small Gills on the edges. I never fish for Bass, just catch them occasionally by accident. Most of my Crappie are caught spider rigging the open water, or on isolated brush using a single pole or jig and bobber.

Sounds about like my day. I ran down to the store to fill up my jeep and get some gas for my sons Ranger. After filling up i seen smoke under the hood and thought I blew the bottom radiator hose… replace the hose in the parking lot with a scalding hot motor. Filled it back up with antifreeze and fired it back up only to find it was the water pump . Went to my nephews Birthday party then grabbed a buddies truck and gooseneck loaded it up and went and changed the water pump. It wasn’t any fun to change.

Man I love that rig, need to find me one for fishing the creek and skinny water. I’m sure you will have the kinks worked out in no time, and be punishing the fish again.

Nice set up. I need to get to the back part of that place and catch some blue gill. Have you been over the railroad track and fished the other side lately? I have to try that as well.

I haven't crossed the tracks in several years. I might try that again next trip!

Do you drive across the tracks on Harris station and turn just past the tracks or get there by water??If it’s not too hot I’m thinking about riding down there and fishing somewhere Friday.
