Fished north end of bay today from 1030 till 4. Caught 22 total with 8 keepers. Water has cleared and is 2 ft below full pool and dropping. Current is heavy caught all fish in same area and bite didn’t start till 130 or so. Used Bobby garland chrome blue 30-36 inches under a float retrieved slow and steady

Nice. Just recently tried the chrome blue and have had better luck with it than anything lately with the little I’ve got to fish.

I hit the bay spider rigging today. Put in at 1130, hit the trailer about 3, I boxed 30. All the crappie I caught measured. I had one about 9 1/8-9 1/4. I would say average was 10.5-11 caught 7-8 over 2lbs. Only caught 1 stripe

I considered fishing the bay but the wind convinced me to go on back into the creek....had the water been 6 inches lower I couldnt have gotten my rig in to the pit where I found a few......TVA is dropping the water fast and the current in the creek was as heavy as Ive seen. glad you caught a bunch.
