Default Kayak Trip Report, Indian Creek - Christmas Eve

I returned to Indian Creek today, the fish were on fire from 7AM till around 11AM. It got tough when the wind picked up. I kept a limit and returned may more that would have kept plus 10 short for every fish that would measure. I started with a 1/16oz jig head but dropped to a 1/32oz since the fish wanted to hit the bait on a slow fall. Still using the Bobby Garland Tuxedo Shimmer body, hope I don't run out! The water was 48 degrees with visibility of about 24 inches. The fish were about 4 feet deep on laydowns and would rise to hit a slow falling bait. Great day.

Shout out to Flint Creek who fished some with me!

Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas in these trying times! + Cross+

Sorry River Boss, I called you Flint Creek!

It was good to see you again. I wonder how many the guy in the little flat bottom caught? It was great to see his son catching several on a jig. I'm glad they were biting well enough for me to cull through and catch a mess of the little ones I like. I'll probably be back on them Sunday. I plan to spend Christmas with my wife (she's off work) and my daughters' family. My granddaughter is 2 yours old so it will be fun watching her unwrap gifts.

Awesome job Ditch if you run out let me know I’m now making my own soft plastic baits and make something very similar to that color!
