    Default Learning experience..

Went to martin for my first foray into longling.Only 1 bad cutout tangle.1 bucket each side slowed the boat to 1.6 mph
Gonna try mitchell in the am hopefully.Try 4 buckets and take more cigars.Saw very little bait.Kinda like trolling the desert, Really helps learn the lake since there ain't much to do cept steer and watch the depth finder. Sidemounted trolling motor was a bust, zero control, went to the merc quick. On that trim up to slow down , my carbed 2 cycle won't run trimmed up enuff to slow down. The experiment continues...

It is nice to be able to control the trolling motor from anywhere in the boat. You can set it to run a a set speed, in a set heading and maintain course. I would not want to go back to fishing without one
