I searched and searched and have bought and tried others based on the videos of the seller using them, only to discover they don’t really work for jigs. Most are made to remove J hooks. The device must reach the bend of the hook in order to do anything about it.

Not recommending anything to anyone, but I did see one that interested me, but it costs $20.

I liked his video because his tool doesn’t destroy the plastic bait like my hemostats seem to do. If you ever find something that works well please post up.

I made one of these with old toothbrush. Cost me nothing and works pretty good.
