Default Kayak Trip Report, Indian Creek

I took off work today before the weather turns again and returned to Indian Creek. I fished from 9AM till about 3PM with the fish biting well until around lunch, then the bite shut down. I kept 21 and returned a bucket full of short fish. Best bait was a 1/16oz jig head with a 1" slider body in White and Chartreuse jigged single pole on laydowns. The fish were 5 to 6 feet deep in 6 to 10 feet of water. The creek has cleared with visibility of about 18 to 24 inches and 53 degrees at 9AM. The water had warmed to 55 by afternoon.

I’m waiting with my fingers crossed for my supervisor to text me back saying I can have a half day tomorrow. Told him I wouldn’t ask again till spring. Lol
