Default Kayak Trip Report, Barron Fork

I fished Barron Folk for a few hours this afternoon, trip was a bust. Handful of bass and gills, but no Crappie. Most of Barron Fork is only 12" to 24" deep and there were hundreds of Pelicans chasing everything in sight. I'm guessing that areas is done until next spring except where it connects it Indian Creek.

I almost went there instead of limestone because the ramp there is better and I wanted to just run around in my new boat some and get the feel of it and theres no place to do that in limestone ....after your report Im glad I went limestone . I didnt get any crappie but I did verify I gould get a 16 ft flatbottom across the bay and into the creek and caught a couple dozen nice bass.
