I fished Barron Folk for a few hours this afternoon, trip was a bust. Handful of bass and gills, but no Crappie. Most of Barron Fork is only 12" to 24" deep and there were hundreds of Pelicans chasing everything in sight. I almost went there instead of limestone because the ramp there is better and I wanted to just run around in my new boat some and get the feel of it and theres no place to do that in limestone ....after your report Im glad I went limestone . I didnt get any crappie but I did verify I gould get a 16 ft flatbottom across the bay and into the creek and caught a couple dozen nice bass.

Dang fish eating pelicans! It's amazing how many fish they can consume in just one day!
