Like I said, he's grown up around people, but hasn't been feed by them.

    Good Gator, LOL!

He is probably thinking….tourists. Gators love tourists. I hear they are plump and taste just like chicken. No fur, no claws, no beaks…….just good well marbled meat, and lots of it.

Down my way we see a lot of these dragons, and they are impressive. I once caught a 2 footer while bass fishing. I was impressed with the raw power he had. He could flex his body at will even against my best efforts. They have different types of muscle than we and I can only imagine the strength your buddy has.

Hope he gets to stick around for you to enjoy.
Maybe they will bite this one……

I was headed up to the first pit and saw him as i passed by. I eased in the pit to try and get a video of him. As soon as he saw me, he hit the water and headed for the other side of the pit. He only had his eyes above the water. After i got out of his site, he floated back up but never left the tree he was under. He does not like being around people. Very special treat getting to see him.

fishing man, He was laying in the sun on the same bank today. I tried not to spook him, but caught a catfish and between the splashing and fighting the wind he took off. I stayed clear of his area and he stayed clear of me. I like having him around but hope I never paddle over him in 24 inches of water not knowing he's there. We're both likely to scare each other to death!
