Well, an update:
My wife had her procedure yesterday. When they took her back they said they’d call when it was done,’it would take about an hour. She wasn’t in surgery 15 minutes and her doctor (who was also performing the surgery) called me to say that whatever he expected to see he didn’t find, and then said he didn’t see anything that he believes is cancerous! Her blood work pre-op was also highly encouraging. We are elated and we were so thankful to leave the hospital with positive news. She will still have weekly follow up blood work to make sure everything looks good. God definitely was at work in this situation and we praise Him for it!

Another update from my wife’s follow up this afternoon- More good news! Her blood work since the procedure continues to show that there isn’t anything of any concern to the oncologist. She will have blood work weekly for a month and see him again in 5 weeks. If the numbers they’re tracking continue to decline as they have been she’ll be in the clear. He doesn’t anticipate that they will rise based on his observations so far, but he of course needs to confirm that to clear her. The craziest part is that after her first procedure back in July, these numbers were rising and she was having some physical symptoms that weren’t good. This is what caused him to believe it could be the form of cancer he mentioned at her first appointment. He had no medical explanation as to why they had dropped prior to the 2nd procedure and since. The only thing we can and do attribute it to is the Lord’s intervention. We so appreciate y’all’s prayers and welcome them over this next month!
