Default Kayak Trip Report, Bradford Sinks

I made a repeat of last week. Fish moved, but found them. Bite was softer, but caught a hundred or so fishing from 0630 till 1200. Kept half a limit for dinner, returned the remainder. Water was 81 degrees at daylight and it had warmed to 84 by lunch time. About half were short fish.

    Bob D,

You need to take a flat bottom and drag this hole sometime. I usually have it to myself or maybe one other boat pitching the banks for Bass. Fun, quiet little spot!

DB - just asking cause I’m new here still….

But do you have to have access to Redstone to fish this area? Like work on the base?

    Thanks

You do have to have access/authorization to be on RSA and have a post fishing permit.

I could have gotten a pass a few months ago through my work but didn’t. Wish now I had. Didn’t realize there was fishing there at the time.

Bob is right, Redstone access then physically go by the sportsman center for the permit, No cost though!
